Skill Level - Easy
This is how I finish my head & eye pins. Everyone has their own little nuiances, so see how you go.
- Thread your head or eye pin with the beads you have choosen.
- Using flat nose pliers, bend the wire back - away from you - at the top of the last bead added.
- Using round nose pliers, position the bend of the wire in the plier jaws (see picture below).
- Bend the tail of the wire (which is currently above the pliers) down over the pliers.
- Re-position your pliers, so that the plier handles are vertical. IE the lower jaw should be in the curve of the wire and the upper jaw should be on top of the wire (see picture below).
- Now finish bending the wire around the pliers so you have a complete loop.
- Cut off the excess wire and close the loop.
