Things to remember when using a Jeweller's saw.

  1. The teeth of the blade should be facing down towards the handle.
  2. Aftler placing one end into the clamp, squeeze the saw frame together then install and tighten the other end of the blade.
  3. A properly fitting blade should be very tight and "sing" when gently plucked.
  4. Never apply pressure to the saw blade when cutting. You will only break the blade.
  5. Beeswax is a great lubricant for the saw blades.  It allows for a smoother sawing action.
  6. Always take your time.
