Things to remember when using a Jeweller's saw.
- The teeth of the blade should be facing down towards the handle.
- Aftler placing one end into the clamp, squeeze the saw frame together then install and tighten the other end of the blade.
- A properly fitting blade should be very tight and "sing" when gently plucked.
- Never apply pressure to the saw blade when cutting. You will only break the blade.
- Beeswax is a great lubricant for the saw blades. It allows for a smoother sawing action.
- Always take your time.
